Our Message
First, we’d like to thank you for your interest in 9Arrows.
9Arrows is mainly intended for use by corporate owners wishing to improve their project management facilities. 9Arrows offers powerful tools to assist with role sharing, planning & scheduling, and progress documentation. Until now, we have offered a range of systems, all separately available. However, earlier progress reports (formerly known as ‘business reports’) often resulted in poor transmission to the client and frequent misunderstandings. As a result, the answer to the question, ‘how can we improve ways to share the latest project details with our partners?’ became the development of 9Arrows. As always, from a vast range of ideas, we choose to develop only a very fine, narrow selection; we select only those of the utmost necessity. 9Arrows is, of course, no exception.
Feedback is crucial to successful development; with our easy-to-access ASP (test) edition we hope to gain the necessary feedback to improve functionality. We encourage new users or those interested to send us their thoughts.
We thank the developers of Ruby, Ruby On Rails, and ExtJS as well as relevant open source communities (e.g. Ruby Business Commons) for enabling and supporting the development of 9Arrows. We would also like to express gratitude to everyone who has supported the growth of 9Arrows and hope that they too find pleasure in development of great I.T. innovations.
09/09/2008 -- Everyone from the 9Arrows Team.
Origin of the name, ‘9Arrows’
The title, '9Arrows', alludes to Motonari Mori’s famous anecdote, 'The Three Arrows', in which 3 brothers unite their 3 arrows to form 9 (3 x 3). (We hope that one day 9Arrows will gain interest from a wider international audience. We hope the spread of 9Arrows will bring more respect for Japan from the global community; this, if you will, is our dream.)
